Strip reinforced polyethylene spiral corrugated pipe is a kind of wound structure wall pipe, which is composed of high density polyethylene (PE) as matrix (inner and outer layer) and surface coated with bonded resin steel strip. The tube wall structure consists of three layers: the inner layer is a continuous solid-wall PE inner tube, the inner layer is wrapped with a ring-shaped corrugated steel band reinforcement (formed by steel plate as "V"), and the outer layer of polyethylene is compounded with the corrugated steel band reinforcement, thus compounding into a whole spiral corrugated pipe. The elastic modulus of steel is nearly 200 times that of polyethylene (the elastic modulus of carbon steel is about 1900 MPa). Combining the advantages of metal and plastics, it is obviously an ideal way to achieve high stiffness and low consumption. It can organically combine the excellent properties of steel, such as high stiffness, high strength, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and flexibility of plastics, so as to give full play to the advantages of two aspects and make up for the shortcomings of two aspects and realize high stiffness. Unification of performance and low cost.

 

Strengthened spiral corrugated pipe with steel strip combines the advantages of steel and plastic very well. The continuous steel strip is used to press the steel bars which are similar to "U" shape to be wrapped between the inner and outer layers of polyethylene by hot fusion. By combining the high rigidity, high strength of steel with the flexibility, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance of polyethylene, the pipe can achieve three levels of annular rigidity of SN8, SN12.5 and SN16, which solves the problem of steel. The corrosion resistance of the material breaks through the limitation that the rigidity of the large diameter all-plastic buried drainage pipe ring can only reach SN8.

1. WELDING OF ELECTROTHERMAL MELT BELT

 

It is a high temperature connection method, which is a rigid connection, by utilizing the high temperature connection method produced by the electrification of the electrothermal elements embedded in the contact surface of the connection. Welding structure of electrothermal melt belt: it adopts a polyethylene melt belt with resistance wires embedded in the inner wall, which adheres to the outer surface of the two connected ends (covering seam more than two centimeters), and then fastens with heat resistance; at the same time, after the inner wall of the pipe end at the interface is firmly supported by a removable tool, it is fed by the resistance wire of the electrothermal melt welding machine, and the resistance wire is heated, melted and expanded to form pressure on both sides of the interface. Polyethylene diffuses with each other, power is turned off, and reliable connection is formed when it is fully cooled and solidified.

 

2. Heat shrinkage band connection

 

It is a connection method that uses fibre reinforced polyethylene heat shrinkage belt as inner layer, heat shrinkage pipe as outer layer, heat shrinkage belt inner surface coated with hot melt glue, after heating, it is connected with adjacent pipe ends by a tight hoop.
